The adidas Gazelle was first introduced as a slim-fit, two-tone football boot made from kangaroo leather in 1965. However, in 1991 the Gazelle became a bit chunkier to match the times. This golden age of sneakers saw bolder, more oversized silhouettes take over. Get ready for an exact re-release of the 1991 version of the boot, the adidas Gazelle GS “Black White.”
This smaller sized Gazelle features an all-black suede upper. The 3-Stripes with sawtooth edges that run down both sides of the shoe are contrasted in white, matching the heel tabs and padded tongues. Black Trefoil branding is printed on the heel tabs while black adidas branding is debossed on the white tongues. Gazelle text branding is printed in gold foil on the mid-quarter panels. An all-white rubber outsole with a honeycomb tread completes the entire ensemble.
